Graduation ceremony for the first batch of students from the Faculty of Science and Arts in Ghadames for the academic year 2023/2022
On Monday, March 4, 2024.
After years of life spent in study, with its sweetness and bitterness and all its challenges, we concluded today the academic journey for a number of college students.
The ceremony was attended by the university president, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, the university's vice president for academic affairs, Dr. Saleh Said Al-Alawi, the dean of the college, Professor Hamoud Bashir Hamoud, the acting mayor of Ghadames, Mr. Habib Haiba, and esteemed individuals and organizations that have supported the college since its inception. The ceremony was also attended by several deans of the university's colleges, a number of directors of departments, centers, and offices at the university, as well as the heads of the academic departments in the college, faculty members, staff, and parents of the students.
The celebration opened with a welcome to the attendees and esteemed guests, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the national anthem. Mr. Hamoud Bashir Hamoud, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts in Ghadames, delivered a speech, followed by a speech from Dr. Mohammed Masoud Qnan, the President of Nalut University, and a speech from Mr. Habib Haiba, the appointed Mayor of Ghadames.
The college was introduced with a brief overview presented by the student Farah Mohammed Qasim Yabi.
The speech of the President of the Local Youth Council was delivered on his behalf by Mr. Mohamed Embarek, and the graduates also presented a speech delivered by the student Sundus Bashir Boushi.
During the celebration, the entities and individuals who have supported the college since its opening were honored, followed by the recognition of the top students according to the college's academic departments.

He then resumed the distribution of graduation certificates to the students.
On this occasion, we extend our congratulations and best wishes to our graduating students and their families, and we wish them success in their future academic and professional lives.
