About the college

The college was established based on the decision of the Minister of Education No. (881) for the year 2019 and opened to receive students in the academic year 2019-2020 with (3) departments, which are: 1- Department of Arabic Language. 2- Department of English Language. 3- Department of Mathematics.

With a total of (42) students for the first batch. Based on the decision of the university president No. (29) for the year 2019, a temporary facilitation committee has been appointed to manage the college, consisting of: - 1- Mr. Hamoud Bashir Hamoud, Chairman. 2- Dr. Khalid Bashir Abdulqader, Member. 3- Dr. Mahdi Abdullah Sharif, Member. 4- Mr. Khalid Abdulhamid Younis, Member.

The committee continued its work for a period of (6) months, after which the university president issued decision number (13) for the year 2020 on 2/2/2020 regarding the appointment of Professor Hamoud Bashir Hamoud as the dean of the college. In the academic year 2020-2021, two additional departments were added based on the approval of the university council, specifically the Department of Physics and the Department of Psychological and Educational Studies.

Providing scientific programs that meet quality standards in sciences and humanities aimed at preparing human resources that contribute to the development of educational institutions and the local community.
